Does it rain all the time in Washington? No, but it certainly starts to feel like it right around Thanksgiving. Does it stop this girl from running? No way. In fact, I’m set to run my first full marathon Thanksgiving weekend. Will it rain? Probably. Will I still run? Definitely. It probably is a little backwards that I’m starting this blog at the end of this journey rather at the beginning, but I feel like the learning is really just starting. You see the journey so far has been about me getting to the finish line. But there is so much more. You see running has brought me friends, community, and future goals that are so much bigger than just this one. It’s the goal of bringing more people along on the same journey. It’s about continuing to improve. It’s about continuing to grow. So here we go. I hope you’ll join me...because running in the rain is actually pretty fun.
